I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at City St George’s, University of London and a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Geography and Environment at the LSE.
My main research interests lie at the intersection of urban economics, economic geography and international trade, with a particular emphasis on how technological shocks drive rising inequalities across regions and different socio-economic groups.
My current research focuses on the following areas:
- The relationship between automation and reshoring dynamics
- How remote work affects productivity and local labor markets
- The evolution of co-agglomeration forces in nineteenth-century Britain
- How population aging shapes technology adoption and youth migration
